From May 26-29, the IEEE Communication Theory Workshop will be taking place in Selfoss, Iceland.
Maximilian Arnold will be hosting the Postioning Algorithm competition, one of 2 Data Bakeoff Competitions being held this year.
"As a novelty, a competition will be held at IEEE Communication Theory Workshop this year. Contestants will work with real data and develop algorithms for problems related to communication theory.
The award to the winning team from each competition is 500 USD." (IEEE CTW-2019 Website)
For the Postioning Algorithm competition participants will have to create an algorithm for transmitter positioning based on measurements from a MIMO array.
