Subject
Next generation mobile networks will not only enable communication in everyday life, but will also be able to sense their surroundings and generate images of the environment. My research focuses on the Integrated Sensing and Communication (ISAC) approach. A major area of interest is the study of radar techniques and their adaptation to the communication domain. This includes enabling and preserving both use cases with limited radio hardware. In particular, I am investigating algorithmic optimisation of beamforming coefficients and array design.
